Packaging Design

Robin and Stephen of Roman and Williams Guild are have a passion for plants and their fragrances. So much so, it inspired them to conjure a new candle each season that celebrates their favorite scents. Each candle features three arrangements of notes, represented in the packaging through botanical illustrations by well-known naturalist and scientific illustrator Maria Sibylla Merian.

The small candles feature a more modest approach to packaging. The paper is handmade and Japan. Gold foil elevates the otherwise humble materials.
